Scendi giù!
“Scendi giù” was a two-day workshop co-created with a group of university students. It started from the awareness that architecture and design are not neutral fields of knowledge or action.
Together, we reflected on the role of these disciplines in times of conflict: from project responsibility to the importance of public spaces and collective practices as tools for resistance and protest.
We didn’t come up with a single answer, but many ideas and questions, which we turned into messages and slogans—later painted on flags, banners, and signs to carry in the parade.
The invitation was to collective participation, critical thinking, taking a stance, and practicing togetherness in everyday life—to build spaces for listening, dialogue, and exchange.
We marched with the structures designed and built during the “Mantovarchitettura 2025” workshop, which explored the theme of conflict by reimagining war-related archetypes as mobile devices.
